Steph Rosentrater, Cofounder of Wonderland Preschool, Has dedicated her life to helping children and families thrive.
Steph is an experienced pediatric speech and language pathologist, emphasizing early intervention and social communication. Her heart is to support children in the learning process, believing they learn best in a nurturing environment that provides rich opportunities to play, explore, and create.
Steph has a gift for creating engaging environments that cultivate compassion, develop strong character, and inspire a love of learning. Growing up in Alaska, she brings a contemplative appreciation for nature and the outdoors to Wonderland activities.
Steph directed the Bainbridge Island Mainly Music program for seven years, and enjoys sharing her love of music during Wonderland’s daily circle time. When she’s not teaching, she loves to spend time with her husband and two children, camping, listening to music, and enjoying s’mores around the backyard fire pit.

Angie Smith, Cofounder of Wonderland Preschool, loves to bring fun and silliness to the learning process.
Her heart is for all children to know they are loved and valued, and to have confidence in who they were created to be. Angie has a gift for engaging and connecting with children through her fun-loving and playful approach to teaching.
Angie grew up on the island, and comes from a long line of Bainbridge Islanders. She lived on the property of Battle Point Park when her parents were the park caretakers, and her great, great grandfather was the first ferry boat captain from Bainbridge to Seattle!
Angie taught for three years at Gateway Christian Schools, after serving as the Marketing and Admissions Director for a year. She is a happy mother to two wonderful children, Brady and Cosette.
